Au cours de notre bref s\u00e9jour \u00e0 Austin, nous avons visit\u00e9s<\/span> :<\/p>

Le Capitol<\/strong> et les jardins alentours : Le capitol construit en granite rose du Texas domine un parc de 18 hectares qui abrite de nombreux \u00e9cureuils et geais bleu.<\/p>

La maison du gouverneur<\/strong> : cette demeure avec de grandes colonnes blanches a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite en 1856. Le gouverneur du Texas occupe un appartement priv\u00e9 au second \u00e9tage.<\/p>

L’universit\u00e9<\/strong> avec de tr\u00e8s beaux b\u00e2timents : elle est situ\u00e9e pr\u00e8s du capitol et comporte 120 batiments dans un parc de 140 hectares.<\/p>

Le jardin botanique<\/strong>, est relativement petit, mais pr\u00e9sente un jardin japonais tres sympa, ainsi qu’un jardin de roses.<\/p>

Le parc de \u00ab\u00a0Wild Basin\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, est situ\u00e9 \u00e0 l’ouest de la ville, dans la r\u00e9gion des collines. C’est une r\u00e9serve prot\u00e9g\u00e9e avec un sentier de randonn\u00e9e de 6 km.<\/p>

Le pont de Congress<\/strong> avec ses milliers de chauves-souris,
Apres la r\u00e9novation du pont en 1980, de petites crevasses furent cr\u00e9es sous le pont et des milliers de chauves-souris vinrent s’\u00e9tablirent dans ces interstices. Elles sont maintenant 750 000 et chaque soir \u00e0 la tomb\u00e9e de la nuit, elles sortent pour se nourrir ainsi que les petits qui viendront agrandir la colonie (brochure<\/a>).<\/p>
